Spring is definitely here. I am loving all the sunshine! This week we started learning about spring weather. We focused on wind by reading a couple fiction selections and some informational text. We made connections when reading
The Wind Blew by Pat Hutchins. We listened to
Whoosh Went the Wind and then wrote some windy poems using describing words. Check out a few pictures below of each.

We had a short assembly this morning as a reward for earning over $9,000 for "Jump Rope for Heart"! The students got to dress up Mr. Hager, Mr. Severson (the gym teachers), and Mr. Johnson (our principal). Our very own Sydnee was one of the lucky few who got to help in the festivities. She was a top earner for kindergarten. She got to pick a friend to help. Below are a few photos.
